Me: the last pay period was 10 business days. You paid me for 78 hours.
Payroll: you worked 78 hours.
Me: but I’m full time.
Payroll: you get paid the hours you work.
Me: why don’t I get paid over time, like when I come in on Saturdays?
Payroll: because you are full time employee.
Me: then why wasn’t paid for 80 hours?
Payroll: because you get paid for the hours you work.
Do you understand why I have a headache?

Yup. They can under pay you, but they don't have to give you over time. Salaried jobs are a massive rip off. People get sucked in, because they are tied to "prestige" job titles (i.e. white collar).
Don' believe the hype. Find a way to be self-employed.
